CTW Award
Since 2004 CTW Chinese Tourists Welcoming Awards are given annually by COTRI for global best practice examples of companies and organisations dealing with the Chinese market. The CTW Award ceremony takes place each year during the COTTM China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market in Beijing.
Invitation for proposals
We hereby sincerely invite all tourism organizations, destination marketing companies, tourism service providers and private companies globally from the leisure, tourism and hospitality sector as well as transportation and retail companies to apply with your products, services or projects for the next CTW Chinese Tourist Welcoming Award.
The CTW Award has been recognized both inside and outside China as the most important award for the Chinese outbound tourism market, reliable index for Chinese tour operators and travelers with its wide coverage in print and electronic media. During the years 2004-2006 it was only selected within European organizations and companies; the award ceremonies were held in Berlin during ITB fair.
From 2007 the CTW Award was fully open for all best practice achievers worldwide; furthermore, the award ceremony has been moved to the main event of China outbound tourism – COTTM China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market in Beijing. The upcoming award ceremony will be held on April 29ndwith the support of the Tarsus Group, organizer of COTTM.
Award categories
The CTW Awards are given with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards each under five categories:
- Product Innovation
- Internet/Media
- Service Quality
- Marketing
- Overall Performance
Application process
The application is free of charge. Participants are required to provide information about their products, services, and/or projects related to the Chinese incoming market and examples in the form of brochures, online information, press releases or other materials.
- All applications have to be submitted by the end of March.
- The application can be made by eMail to award@china-outbound.com.
- Physical materials (brochures etc.) should be send in three copies by post to either
